Comic (preview)

This is a preview sequence from a webcomic that I’m accumulating drawings for.  It has no title as of yet.  Suggestions are welcome.  I selected this particular sequence because a) it has some sort of a continuous plot, while some of the other, shorter threads are harder to follow, and b) it’s pretty much wordless.

The concept going into the project was to collaborate with my partner, the inimitable Nick Simmonds, who would write all dialogue and captioning after I drew the pictures.  I wouldn’t have a say in what he wrote, and he wouldn’t have a say in what I drew.  Which we still think is a cool concept.  In the meantime, of course, I’ve had more time to draw than he’s had to write, and shortly after I began I remembered that I hadn’t written a comic that actually involved any dialogue at all since I was about ten.  I lapse into these long, wordless sequences pretty much out of habit.  Still, there are a bunch of panels that do involve copy, and in short they don’t have copy yet.

We’ll get there.  In the meantime, here’s a sneak peek.
